What I love about food is how it can bring people together! Shared experiences, comparing tastes, flavours, exotic smells - all reminders of our past journies and the fun we had!
I’m deeply passionate about the world we live in and our impact. I aim to source as many ingredients as I can locally in the UK and even down to using Cotswolds substitutes, freezing seasonal products and exploring what we can do with our packaging. We waste very little in the creation of our pastes and spice mixes.
Also important to me is the creation of local communities. As a current playing member at Swinbrook CC we are a sponsor of youth cricket, have run post match themed events for our own players as well as the opposition and supporters, and through our collaboration with the excellent BBQ Magazine we were part of an initiative that supports local sports clubs with securing financial support for future events - the Clubhouse.
Sport, food, fun and collaboration to me is part of what makes people happy and stay connected.
